WELCOME TO MY PAGE. . . .a 90 year old Lutheran pastor and writer of books, five to be exact. Four are pictured on my Home Page. The fifth was published in 2003: "Preaching is Drama." It is a small "how-to-do-it" on dramatic monologues, and contains five of my monologues: Judas, Caiaphas, Pilate, Barabbas and Joseph of Arimathia.
Currently I am working on another novel: "ONESIMUS, runaway slave." His name is mentioned only twice in Scripture; once in Paul's letter to Philemon and once in Paul's letter to the Colossians. We know very little about the person Onesimus. Why was he a slave? Why did he run away? How did he travel 1500 miles and end up at the feet of Paul in Rome? What happened when he came back to Philemon? What did he finally do as a Christian? I think the story is worth telling.
