"LUKE, Ambassador of the Word," is the story of the only Gentile to write a part of Scripture, one-fouth of the New Testament. His name appears in only three places, once in Colossians, once in Philemon, and once in II Timothy. He dedicates the Gospel and the Book of Acts to a man named Theophilis, of whom we know absolutely nothing.. Luke never knew Jesus, but his Gospel is written as though it was an eyewitness account.. Luke's life, as the author describes it, is an inspiring read. As with his other books, you will not want to stop.
