"THE SCROLLS, John's Voice in the Wilderness," is a novel filled with surprises. Spending most of his life in the wilderness, John encounters many individuals we meet in Scripture. In his involvement with the Essene community, those who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls, he comes to understand what he is called to do. In that "calling" he wrestkles with what he wants in life as over against what Yahweh (God) wants. As many have said, it is a book you will not want to put down once you start.
